My topic, along with Cathy Lang, is:
Structuring for Impact – Finding The Right Form For Your Social Enterprise
Presented by Mark Blumberg and Cathy LangSocial enterprise can be a very effective tool for dealing with some of the most intractable problems in our society. Proper structuring of the social enterprise initiative can help ensure maximum impact and save a lot of time, money and aggravation later on. This workshop will present the advantages and disadvantages of various organizational forms for social enterprise and the factors to consider in choosing one or more that best fit with your mission and enterprise function. Participants will be encouraged to share their questions and experiences in structuring social enterprises.
