The “All My Relations Gathering: Innovation Emerging from Tradition” conference will be taking place in Winnipeg this year on November 17-18, 2015.
Here is information on the conference from the Circle:
The Circle on Philanthropy and Aboriginal Peoples in Canada (The Circle) is hosting its annual All My Relations Gathering, November 17-18, 2015 in Winnipeg, Manitoba – a unique forum that brings together foundations, not-for-profit organizations and Indigenous peoples.
The Gathering connects individuals, communities and organizations and shares new research, innovation and training related to the Indigenous philanthropic sector in Canada. This year’s theme, “Innovation Emerging from Tradition” will honour traditional reciprocity and its value to innovative, effective Indigenous philanthropy.
This is the only national gathering of its kind, providing amazing networking opportunities. Reconciliation will be a central theme, as the Gathering brings together a committed group of philanthropists and leaders to initiate change on the ground for Indigenous communities.
Notable speakers include:
• Wab Kinew, CBC Radio/TV Host
• International Chief Wilton Littlechild, I.P.C
• Waneek Horn Miller, Olympic Athlete
• David McLeod, CEO Native Communications Inc.
