Federally incorporated charities and non-profit organizations have until October 17, 2014 to complete the transition to the Canada Not-for-profit Organizations Act. Failure to do so will result in dissolution. This session is intended for directors, staff and volunteers of organizations that have not yet completed the transition process. It will provide an overview of the Act and will explain the steps that must be taken before October 17 to obtain a Certificate of Continuance from Corporations Canada.
