Here is a CRA document provided under access to information rules which includes their media response on Canadian charities and funding or supporting terrorism.  Not surprisingly because of the very limited scope for CRA to divulge information under the confidentiality provisions of the Income Tax Act (Canada) there is little information divulged.

The CRA in response to a question about whether there has been a greater utilization of charities for supporting terrorism  “It is still too soon for us to confirm whether there is a trend. Instances of actual or suspected terrorist abuse of the registered charity sector are rare, but real – both in Canada and other countries.”

One of the funnier pieces “We do not have any statistics on how many organizations have had their charitable registrations revoked for being involved with funding terrorism abroad.”
