The Canadian Charity Law Association will be delivering a webinar entitled “Business and social enterprise for charities” on January 26 at 12:00 PM EDT.
This session will examine the opportunities, options and limitations for charities to engage in entrepreneurial activity. It will focus on the concept of “related business” as interpreted by the CRA. It will also address issues relating to non-profit organizations engaging in business, and the uncertainty of the law and administrative policies that apply to them. The webinar will be presented by Richard Bridge, a lawyer in the area of Charity and Not-for-profit law.
