With the Charities Directorate call centre suspended till April 5, 2020, we thought we would have a Registered Charity Q&A on Friday, March 20.   This will be a free opportunity for those with relatively straightforward questions to connect and we will try to provide information (not legal advice) as best we can.   It will be from 12 -1 PM EST on Friday, March 20.

So if you have questions about objects, receipting, foreign activities, T3010s, charity applications, ONCA, restricted gifts, working with non-qualified donees in Canada, fundraising practices, disbursement quota, political activities, changes at your charity that you need to advise CRA of, keeping adequate books and records, responding to COVID-19, etc.

You can sign up here and send in questions when you sign up.   After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.   You will also be able to send in questions when you are online.   Hope this helps some.

Keep in mind that online resources like the Charities and Giving website from CRA are still available.  As well we have over 2500 blog posts at www.CanadianCharityLaw.ca
